TRAGEDY: 2 MEN DROWNED TO DEATH IN RIVER KADUNA TRYING TO ESCAPE POLICE ARREST

Two young fellows of about 17 and 20 years old got suffocated in River Kaduna, supposedly attempting to escape police capture over unidentified criminal offense. 


No less than 15 Police men were said to have swooped on picnickers last Friday by the bank of River Kaduna in Kinkino hub of the waterway in the city, undermining to shoot any of the picnickers that attempted to flee. 

However, in a quick response when reached, Spokesman, of Kaduna State Police Command, DSP, Abubakar Zubairu precluded information from securing the episode. 
He said, "The data is not genuine , it is devilish, negligible and deceiving, they are simply attempting to stain or mark great picture of police. Police did not pursue anyone, neither did they see anyone that rushed to some place in light of their vicinity". 
"Police were on routine wrongdoing counteractive action watch and no one came to grumble police activity or inaction, and on the off chance that anyone with bona fide grievance, he ought to come up, so we can explore". 
On the other hand, two observers who are survivors of the episode said they were so terrified by the police risk that they chose to bounce into the stream keeping in mind the end goal to swim to the opposite side of it to dodge capture, notwithstanding when they asserted that they didn't perpetrate any wrongdoing. 

Be that as it may, two of the getting away persons were said to have suffocated in the waterway, while the other two had the capacity swim over the stream. 

The expired's names were given as Aliyu Garba, 20, and Ahmed Nasir,17, while the survivors were Aminu Bashir and Hassan Adamu.
