Honestly, I am so so tired of Nigerian celebs, why does it have to be one scandal or the other ? what is it with them all anyway? I was so shocked when i heard this gist on campus.

Ace Actor Emeka Ike yesterday prayed the Lagos Island Customary Court not to dissolve his marriage, saying he still loves his wife, Emma.

Emma had gone to court, seeking dissolution of their 12-year-old marriage. Emeka, represented by his counsel, Abdul’Hakeem Labi-Lawal, said his client has not appeared in court because he is ill.

“My client is ill but I will try my best possible he comes on the next adjourned date. We indulge the court to give us six months from this day to see if there is possibility of settlement between the couple,” he said.

But Mrs. Ike said six months was too long adding that the respondent had two years to reconcile with her but he didn't. She said:

“The last time I wanted to speak with our children, it was my mother-in-law who
picked the call and asked if I had read Exodus 21 which says that if I go, I shouldn't return.”

The court’s President, Chief Awos Awosola, said the court could only grant two weeks. He said:

“I am expecting Emeka Ike in this court if he really wants settlement.”

Awosola adjourned the matter till August 12 for further hearing. After the court rose, Mrs. Ike told 9ja Campus Mag Reporter that she wasn’t ready to return to her husband.

“Over two years since I left the house, he never taught of reconciliation. He had every opportunity to ask me to return but he didn’t. So why now?” she asked.

Mrs. Ike said her husband took her last two children from her when she was going for her mother’s burial in February.  

“He promised to bring them to me immediately I returned from my mother’s burial but he didn’t. Even when he didn’t allow me access to see our children, I spoke with them on several occasions but now, he doesn’t allow me anymore. My children are now against me, she said.

Mrs. Ike said she left her matrimonial home because she could no longer bear being tortured anymore.

“If I was still with him, I may not survive. I was 19-year old when I met him and he was the one who deflowered me. I see no reason I shouldn't be treated with utmost respect. Due to physical torture, my health has been affected. There was even a time I thought I had breast cancer because I felt a lump on one part of my breast.” Mrs Ike said.

She said things became worse last Sunday when she called her husband to speak with their children.

In tears, Mrs. Ike said:

"I almost went mad when my first son told me on phone that if I truly loved them, I wouldn’t have abandoned them. Even my seven-year-old son whose day wouldn’t be complete without seeing me said he doesn’t love me. I love my children. I miss my children. I never abandoned them. I am in pain. They don’t have any other mother. I really need my children. I am a good woman; I endured so many things as his wife".

The union produced four children between ages 4 and 13.

My Little Angel is Gone: LAST WORD OF A DYING LITTLE GIRL TO HER PARENTS & FRIENDS

Hello everyone this is Avery's father. Avery passed away yesterday sometime around 3pm due to pulmonary complications related to SMA. In short, one of her lungs collapsed and she went into cardiac arrest. I immediately performed CPR on her and was able to bring her back to life, but only for a brief period of time before she passed away shortly after arriving at the hospital. Avery's passing this quickly came as a complete shock to all of us, as she had just been given a thumbs up at her last doctors appointment only three days ago. While we were aware of the
severity of her diagnosis, we never lost hope for Avery and even in her passing, we still have hope for our daughter and all of her friends. I'm going to share a note Avery gave me back when all of this started, but made me promise not to open until I knew the time was right...
Dear Mommy & Daddy,
If you're reading this it's because I've gone to take care of my Uncle Bryant, Nana Carolyn, Papa George, and all my great Grandparents. I love you veeeeeeeeeery much. Also, tell Nana & G-Pa I love them too. In fact, tell everyone who loved me that I love them and I appreciate them caring about me. When I started writing my blog, I thought I'd only be speaking to my closest friends and family members. Little did I know soooooooo many people would care about me and while I'm flattered to have so many people who love me, I hope they will also take time to love and care about all of my friends out there with SMA.

You see, I'd never heard of SMA prior to being diagnosed with it, yet there's thousands of my friends out there living
with it today and millions of my future friends parents who are unknowingly carriers of the SMA gene. Without awareness and without a cure, I'm afraid more of my friends are at risk to have their lives drastically shortened by SMA. When people think of me, I hope they'll also think of all my friends who have been through this and who are going through this now. But what I really hope for is that when people think about me, they will not waste time sitting there feeling sorry for me, rather I hope they will STAND UP in honor of me and all of my friends (past, present, and future). And they can do so by spreading awareness and helping to fund a cure for my friends.

To all my SMAns, you followed me, now please follow all of my friends. Mommy. Daddy. I love you every bit as much as you love me. And while I'm not here physically, I will forever live in your minds, as you will mine. Love always,

Oga, the whole matter still be like film to me o. this one no be “dem say dem say” because I dey there wen tori begin wowo ….but I go start from the very begin.

The woman in question na correct gbese woman, after the matter don shele finish, I come dey hear say the management of the hotel don sack plenty people comot from the hotel because of this same woman. Imagine person wey dey work as auditor come begin dey threaten workers for the hotel like say na she get the hotel. The worst be say, she no dey ever dey wrong.

Today, as usual, I go this very hotel to go chill out with some of my guys and to do the thing I do (writing). E no tay this woman just appear from nowhere come begin dey harass me. She say see as I occupy one full table.

“Remove all this things joor… in fact anytime wen you come here you go dey pay for light. Nonsense! No be say you dey buy drink or anything, you go just come here occupy everywhere”

my guy I no know say I don robust like that o…

E no tay she just suddenly get up from where she sit down, carry her two left leg waka only her o, by herself, with herself, through herself waka go meet two military men wey dey jolly with their babe base on say dem just return from sambisa forest where dem don dey for like 3 years.

The woman go dey bully them say why dem go buy food from outside enter the hotel. Na im one of the soja come ask am say whether na so dem take dey talk to their customer? Gan gan! O boi the woman just burst o… “My friend, what do you mean by that?” before I say ‘gbagan’ the woman do woz one the military guy o shuuuu….Na im the other one stand up come like “Madam wetin dey worry you?” Gbwua! She slap the other one, push am, come begin dey shout o… “Na bcos you be wear soja cloth?” O boi, wetin follow next guy my mouth no fit yan o….just watch am yourself.
